Overview

Sterile 1ml insulin syringes with permanently attached 29-gauge needles (12.7mm length). Each syringe is individually sealed in a peel-open blister pack to maintain sterility. The 100-unit (1ml) barrel features clear graduation markings at 1-unit intervals for precise sub-millilitre measurement, essential for accurate peptide research dosing protocols. The 29G needle gauge minimises tissue disruption in subcutaneous research applications.

Mechanism of Action

The fixed 29-gauge needle (0.33mm outer diameter) is thin enough to minimise injection site trauma while maintaining sufficient flow rate for aqueous peptide solutions. The dead space in the needle hub is minimal (~0.07ml with fixed needles vs ~0.1ml with detachable), reducing compound waste per injection. The polypropylene barrel is chemically inert and does not interact with dissolved peptides or preservatives such as benzyl alcohol.

Research Applications

  • Subcutaneous peptide administration in research protocols
  • Precise volumetric measurement for dosing accuracy
  • Reconstitution transfer from vial to vial
  • Standard laboratory supply for injectable research materials
